This guide helps to verify the filesystem on an SD card.

To check if an SD card is fake or failing, follow the steps on 3DS Hacks Guide:

Windows

  1. Open File Explorer → This PC
  2. Right-click the SD card and click Properties

  3. Go to the Tools tab, then click Check under Error Checking

  4. A prompt titled "You don't need to scan this drive" might appear, click "Scan and repair drive" if it does
